Go ahead and scratch former Rams pass-game coordinator Zac Robinson off the list of potential prospects to take the vacant OC position with the Saints. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Robinson will follow new head coach Raheem Morris to the Atlanta Falcons and become the team’s offensive coordinator. The news of Robinson joining Morris’s staff shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Immediately after the report of Morris being hired to become Falcons head coach, rumors quickly surfaced about Robinson becoming the team’s offensive coordinator. Both coaches were on Sean McVay’s staff in Los Angeles. As for the Saints, they interviewed Texans quarterback Jerrod Johnson for the second time on Saturday and will have former Eagles OC Brian Johnson go through the process on Monday.
